The two U14s teams continued their positive with the Blues and Golds respectively coming up trumps in their games against Maldon and Hackney.
(SENOR RUGBY APRIL 5) The blue and golds ended their 2024-25 league season on a positive note after rescuing a losing bonus point following a 52-26 defeat to champions Hampstead in the Counties Two Herts-Middlesex finale at the Heath Extension (April 5).
Beaten 47-0 by the same rivals in the league opener, the visitors had a point or two to prove and, after a laboured first-half display in which Hampstead dominated, all they had to show for their efforts was a Frank Antwi try converted by Jack O’Toole.
Trailing 26-7 at the break, Ignatians assumed a different persona after the interval, and tries from Sam Hatchett, Wes Chase and Matt Pollard, plus a brace of O’Toole conversions, at least ensured that the blue and golds ended the contest with their heads held high.

Ignatians ended the season in seventh spot, with UCS having leapfrogged them following a resounding win over St Albans, but thus needs to also be seen in the context to a poor start to the season, as we lost our first five games. However, ever since then, it has been onwards and upwards.
