At the recent EGM of the Club, the members voted in favour of pressing ahead with the ambitious scheme to refurbish the existing changing rooms and build a small extension to accommodate a further two changing rooms. All the club's changing rooms will then have en-suite showers and toilets, enabling greater participation by our expanding female section and providing top rate facilities for our senior squad.

There is still much more to be done, including gaining agreement from the council in a number of areas and, as important, ensuring the club embarks on a long term fundraising journey to finance the scheme.

Off the field, the senior players, rather than be despondent about the relegation from last season, are already building plans to bounce back in September. A group of senior players, supported by the Executive are in the process of recruiting a new coach, new first team manager, planning an exciting pre season regime and, with the support of the RFU, developing a coaching strategy which will help them take next season by storm.
