The U16s made a positive start to their Herts-Middlesex Division Four campaign with a comprehensive 38-14 win over Barnet Elizabethans B at Donkey Lane on Sunday 6 October.

The home team, very much the dominant side in the first-half, ran in six tries – four of which were converted.

Oscar, variously deployed at scrum-half/outside centre, was the Ignatians’ Coaches Man of the Match, whereas number eight Jayden was signalled out for special praise by the Barnet coaching team.

The U14s (Golds) suffered a narrow reverse in their away friendly against Fullerians after going down 19-17 in Hertfordshire today.

(ENFIELD TIGERS) The Enfield Tigers U18s women’s team travelled to RAF Halton, Buckinghamshire, where they were won two of their four tournament games, with the highlights being the respective 10-7 and 17-10 wins over Braintree and XL Warriors.

They also suffered 25-0 and 24-0 losses to Basildon and Braintree.
