(March 22) ENFIELD IGNATIANS wrapped up all five points against visiting Old Millhillians in a default win, as the opposition effectively conceded the game before the kick-off as they were unable to field a full complement.
However, the game still went ahead in ‘friendly’ format at Donkey Lane, with Ignatians stepping in to loan the visitors a few players, as the hosts ruled the roost 71-33 in a free scoring affair 14-a-side game at Donkey Lane.
Ishan Tilakaratna was the Mary Madden's Man of the Match.
The result keeps Ignatians rooted to sixth, with 44 points, in the Counties Two Herts-Middlesex table, and with one final league game remaining – away to champions Hampstead on 5 April – they can finish no lower than seventh.
