Don't be fooled by the official score line as the rampant blue and golds clocked actually gorged themselves by scoring 12 tries - four of which were converted. Not that a try feeding-frenzy was the sole object of the exercise in what was Ignatians' first league game of the season.
Coach Steve Renny said: "The players were all very hungry as wanting to score tries. However, I had a word with them {players} at half-time and said that I wanted more organisation and structure to our game. In this respect, I thought we delivered. One must also credit the opposition. Kilburn had some decent players and they kept playing to the end."
Sam Jones (three tries) was the blue and golds' top try scorer and; Harry Bennett and Harry Grosch also had a decent innings by weighing-in with a brace each.Others to cross the whitewash were Ethan Robinson, Anzl Swartz, Jack O'Toole, Mason Parker-Collom and Frazer Briers (pictured).
For the record, and for league administrative reasons, winning score lines never exceed 45 points.
