It's the final week before the club Big Day Out at Allianz Park on March 1, and there's still plenty to do. It's still not too late to step-up as either a steward or a member of the clean-up squad. So please contact me on harold.pritchard@landg.com.
An exciting week also takes in an appearance on the Rugby Tonight Show on BT Sport on Wednesday at 8pm when 40 members of the club will be present. We will be out to give the BDO a big plug so please tune-in.
We've invited some high profile people to the event and I'm not just talking locally, and it will be great if they can make it.
Remember, it's your event and we are all working hard to ensure that it's a memorable experience for all. However, we couldn't do it without you and the role of the volunteer is paramount to our success.
This unique event, which begins at 9.15 am when the minis take the stage, culminates with the London Two North-East floodlit clash between the first team and promotion chasing Saffron Walden at 7.30 pm.
It's a free event and should be a lot of fun. We would like to invite the people of Enfield to join us and support us at Allianz Park, in addition to the rugby playig communities from Saracens Amateurs, Old Grammarians, Old Ashmoleans, Southgate and Old Tottonians.
Coach places are still available and can be booked via Nikki Wooster at nikkiwooster@tiscali.co.uk.
